After nearly 6 months of construction we have managed to transform the Loki del Mar construction to a working hostel.

With a full house of 54 beds in dorms of 6 and 4 and private doubles and more rooms being added nearly daily.

1 Month to Loki del Mar

It seems like forever, since we first came to Màncora to start work on Loki del Mar, now we are coming in to our last month before the opening party on Halloween.

Due to the referendum in Bolivia over the weekend, there was a dry law ( no booze) in effect for 48 hours before the vote. Nobody really knew what this meant. Not the Police, not our Lawyers and certainly not us. Was it to start 48 hours before the vote started or 48 hours before the day of the vote?

Yesterday Celeste Wooley came back from Europe to Lima, who ever of you that stayed with us in Cusco during the last Christmas - New year should remember Celeste behind the bar in Cusco.

Celeste is joining the Loki family and will be working with us mainly in Cusco.
